What do whole-plant, full-spectrum, broad-spectrum and isolate mean?

CBD isolate is CBD separated from the plant’s other compounds.

“Whole-plant CBD”—also called full-spectrum CBD—is CBD extract that contains the source plant’s other cannabinoids and beneficial terpenes. Similarly, broad-spectrum CBD contains most of the original plants material but not everything. In the case of hemp-derived CBD, broad-spectrum generally refers to products that are free of THC.

Our position reflects what research suggests: Whole-plant extracts are more beneficial because of the entourage effect. Based on the idea that the effectiveness of CBD is enhanced by the “entourage effect,” our full-spectrum and broad-spectrum hemp-derived CBD products contain most or all of the cannabinoids and beneficial terpenes of their source plants.

Our products are designed to be as close to the source plant as possible.
